Performing Arts Groups
Chandler Center for the Arts is proudly host to recitals, events and performances for several arts and culture organizations in the East Valley and beyond. Four of these organizations have had a long-time partnership with the CCA.
Ballet Etudes showcases two performances at the CCA each season. Each year, the weekend after Thanksgiving is when The Nutcracker opens, a Chandler holiday tradition since the Center opened its doors in 1989.
Chandler Center for the Arts and C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona co-present the Annual Mariachi and Folklorico Festival each year, another Chandler tradition that brings people from all over the Valley into Downtown Chandler to celebrate the music and dancing of Mexico.
Chandler Symphony Orchestra has been presenting its free classical and pops concerts at Chandler Center for the Arts since its beginnings as the San Marcos Symphony in 1993. A true community orchestra, the members of the board and all musicians of the CSO all donate their time to the organization in order to make its music accessible to everyone.
Tempe Dance Academy makes another Chandler holiday tradition possible - The Spirit of Christmas. A dance extravaganza that is a feast for the eyes, The Spirit of Christmas delights attendees of all ages and has been presented on the CCA stage for more than 30 years.
