This position is a part-time, 19-hour per week, non-benefited position.  Scheduled work hours will generally occur during the week in the daytime, with some evenings possible to provide support, as needed, at shows. Under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, this position is a member of the team helping to achieve annual sales and awareness goals. The duties of this position include content creation for the website and social media platforms, weekly data/analytics gathering, and assisting staff with other duties as assigned.  Ideal candidates are excellent communicators, detail-oriented, strategic and reliable, with a passion for the arts or serving the community. Benefits include flexible schedule, some remote work hours, and comped tickets to performances. Pay is $19 an hour and cannot be negotiated.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist with website updates and edits through Chandler Center for the Arts, in support of branding objectives
  • Create engaging website content, such as photo galleries, videos, interviews, blog posts, promotional landing pages and info graphics.
  • Create and update images and videos on all promotional screens, including inside and outside the building
  • Assist in the implementation of strategies for Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (Google AdWords, Website Meta Information, keywords, pixel usage)
  • Assist with social media content to increase awareness of Chandler Center for the Arts events and program (videos, Facebook Live/Streaming, Instagram Live, contests, polls, stories, memes and imagery)
  • Create and deploy email blasts to target segments within the CCA CRM engagement platform
  • Help Marketing and Communications Coordinator to develop and execute digital ad campaigns on multiple platforms, create pixels and Came From Codes for tracking purposes
  • Monitor and report analytics for CCA website and social media
  • Assist with marketing duties during performances
  • Assist with crafting press releases

Preferred/Desirable Qualifications

  • Six months or more of social media marketing and website experience
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in marketing, public relations or communications, or senior level student in one of these programs
  • Excellent writing skills, AP experience a plus
  • Knowledge of  Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, basic HTML coding, social media best practices and basic understanding of Google analytics
  • Experience with an iPad or phone for filming; editing on Adobe or Canva
  • Work with CRM system such as Constant Contact or MailChimp, a big plus

Reports To:               Events Program Coordinator

Pay Range:                  $14-16/hour

This position is a part-time, non-benefited position with no set hours.  Primary work functions happen on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Under direction of the Patron Services Coordinator, this position assists the House Manager & Patron Services Coordinator during events at the Chandler Center for the Arts.  The Assistant House Manager is responsible for monitoring and assisting with overseeing front of house activities during events.  The Assistant House Manager must be able to work well with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation of front of house and outstanding customer service to patrons at Chandler Center for the Arts. 

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Willing to work long hours if needed

Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:

  • Six months or more of customer service and/or event experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Front of House operations for performing arts venues
  • Familiarity with Volunteer Management software (Volgistics)
  • Ability to set priorities, remain calm and handle possible emergency situations
  • Effectively present information to a wide variety of contacts including patrons, artists, media, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises approximately 20-40 volunteers at performances and events
  • Coordinates show requirements using a checklist with Patron Services Coordinator and House Manager
  • Responsible for preparing house reports, incident and accident reports and volunteer orientations
  • Monitors theatre, lobbies and restrooms in case of emergency situations, handles questions, comments and complaints that may occur during the pre-show, performance, intermission and post-show 
  • Ability to learn and train others on theatre seating and scanning procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
  • Maintains high standards for interacting with patrons, staff and volunteers
  • Other duties as assigned

Reports To:                 Lead Custodian
Pay Range:                 $13.50 - $15.50 an hour

 
This position is a part-time, non-benefited position with no set hours. 
 
Primary work functions happen on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays with some weekdays and weekday evenings based on event needs. 
 
Reporting to the Patron Services Coordinator and with directions from the Lead Custodian, this position assists other custodians during events at the Chandler Center for the Arts. The Custodian Assistant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility during events and before and after events. The Custodian Assistant must be able to work well with paid staff, volunteers, and clients to ensure the smooth operation of all events.

 Minimum Qualifications Required: 
•    Able to stand for long periods of time
•    Willing to work long hours if needed 
•    Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

 Preferred/Desirable Qualifications: 
•    Prefer some custodial and event set up experience
•    High school diploma or GED
•    Effective communication skills including interpreting written instructions 
•    Ability to clean and maintain theaters, backstage spaces, offices, gallery, and outdoor areas.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
•    Cleans theaters, backstage spaces, offices, and gallery, works with cleaning fluids and chemicals using normal protective equipment, uses machinery such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers, coordinates with other custodians and staff regarding set up and tasks for events, 
•    Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of lobby and restrooms during events and stocking restrooms, monitors theaters, lobbies, and restrooms during the pre-show, performance, intermission and post-show, 
•    Ability to learn and explain to others lobby setups and theater cleaning procedures,
•    Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude,
