Friends of the Center

Friends of the Center are volunteers for Chandler Center for the Arts. More than 210,000 people visit the Center each year, and for many of them, volunteers are their first point of contact with the Center. Volunteers provide an invaluable service by welcoming patrons and helping them have an enjoyable experience at the Center.

How to Get Involved

Complete the volunteer application. Once we received your application, the House Manager will contact you via email to schedule your volunteer orientation. You must complete orientation before you may sign up to volunteer.

Volunteer Duties

Our volunteers assist with the following tasks:

• Usher/Docent
• Greeter
• Ticket scanner

Requirements

Please review the volunteer handbook at the bottom of the page to review any further requirements.

AGE

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age with parental supervision to volunteer. Volunteers 18 years old and older may volunteer without supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

Volunteers are required to stand for long periods of time and may need to climb up and down several stairs quickly to assist in case of an emergency evacuation. 

DRESS CODE

Volunteers must wear the appropriate dress code attire during CCA volunteer shifts. Learn more about the dress code and other requirements in the Volunteer Handbook.
