Vision Kids
The Vision Kids Program offers a series of children's art workshops designed to inspire a child’s creativity and show them how art can be applied in daily life. Participants in the program go home with a work of art they created and a better understanding of the creative process.
Each workshop provides a child with the opportunity to work with a professional artist and create artworks with their own creativity. Program curriculum is designed for youth ages 6 to 16 years old, and explores art’s diverse perspectives and techniques. Various media are explored throughout the year, including drawing, watercolor, batik, ceramics, collage, print-making, photography, graffiti and more.
Vision Kids classes are held at the Vision Gallery, located on the first floor of Chandler City Hall on select Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., lasting up to two hours. Classes are offered in the fall and spring with registration dates for each.
Funding for this program is provided by the Chandler Cultural Foundation, private donors, corporations, and grants.
