The Chandler Cultural Foundation (CCF), the non-profit organization which oversees the the programming and operations of the Chandler Center for the Arts (CCA), announce the election of its Executive Committee for the 2021-22 Season.
David Woodruff
Board Chair
A longtime top executive in Arizona's healthcare industry, David Woodruff has been elected to serve as Chair of the Chandler Cultural Foundation Board for the 2021-22 Season. Woodruff previously served as Board Chair in 2013. During that time, he led the strategic- and long-range planning efforts including governance review for the CCA's transition to a new General Manager, deepening the Center's impact in the community and building sustainable revenue streams for the future.
With more than 30 years overseeing operations and finances for Arizona's largest healthcare providers - including CEO for Banner Surgery Center, CFO for Arizona Center for Cancer Care, and Business Development for Dignity Health - Woodruff was appointed to the CCF Board in 2009.
Throughout his career, Woodruff has led the generation of more than $200M in capital investment, negotiated third party investments into a $150M physician practice and managed annual gross revenues of up to $1B. He currently is CEO of Woodruff Healthcare Consulting, LLC, which he founded in October of 2020. His financial expertise provides valuable insight to the CCF Board and its responsibilities for fiduciary oversight.

LaTricia Woods
Vice Chair
Recognized as one of the Valley's leading communications professionals, LaTricia Woods, APR, has been elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Chandler Cultural Foundation. Woods has an impressive 25-year career in strategic planning for community engagement, public affairs, marketing, and multicultural communications for government agencies, nonprofits and small businesses.
Founder and President of Mahogany Xan Communications, she has been named a Forty Under 40 by both the Phoenix Business Journal and Kansas Business Journal, and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the Maricopa Community Colleges. Prior to the creation of her firm, Woods worked in the city governments of Wichita, KS and Maricopa, AZ as a Public Information Officer and as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Scottsdale. In 2019, she was appointed National Public Relations Chair for the Top Ladies of Distinction.

Additional Board Updates
Continuing to serve on the Chandler Cultural Foundation's Executive Committee for the 2021-2022 Season is Steena Murray, a long-time supporter and founding Board Member who will serve as Treasurer, and Julia Marreel, local business owner and entrepreneur who will serve as Secretary.
Woodruff and Woods succeed outgoing Chair Jeanne Forbis and Vice Chair Linda Carol Yarborough. During their time on the Executive Committee, the two women were part of the Foundation’s investment to rebrand the Chandler Center for the Arts and support new marketing and communications efforts that led to record-breaking sales over two consecutive seasons before the pause created by the pandemic.

Chandler Cultural Foundation Board Members are volunteers appointed by the City of Chandler Mayor and serve the community with a three-year term. With ticket sales and other earned income covering only part of the Center’s programming expenses, Chandler Cultural Foundation is integral to fundraising efforts that support artistic and educational programs at the CCA, as well as providing long-term sustainability for the arts through its endowment fund.
The Foundation’s leadership plays the vital role of stewardship for Chandler Center for the Arts, ensuring quality arts programs are offered to the public at an affordable cost, while guiding the fiscal, artistic and operational management for the facility.
The Chandler Center for the Arts will open its doors to the community on July 23 for the Free Summer Concert Series, and will officially kick off its season with a sold out performance of Boz Scaggs on September 24.
