For more than a decade, Zoppé An Italian Family Circus has erected his signature tent on the Chandler High School field behind Chandler Center for the Arts. The one-ring circus has become a holiday tradition for many families in the East Valley.
This season the tradition continues and the Zoppé Circus will be debuting an all-new show called, La Nonna (meaning, grandmother, in Italian), dedicated to the strong women in the circus' history, featuring an international cast of all-female performers.
Santos Family is a unique troupe of female-only fliers who will be introducing the youngest member of their family to the show in a brand new Perch Pole act featuring amazing six-year-old twins, Alice and Elisa Santos.
Las Reinas is a new troupe joining Zoppé, featuring female artists with skills that range from dancing to aerial to equestrian trick-riding. All have an extensive background in circus performance, coming from all over the world.
This intimate circus has no seat more than 20-feet from the crowd-pleasing, jaw-dropping action. The show also features comedy, canine capers, clowns, equestrian showmanship and audience participation. Refreshments are available at every performance, including hot chocolate, cotton candy and popcorn. The Zoppé Italian Family Circus has matinée and evening shows, December 26, 2019, through January 5, 2020. Tickets are $24 - $40, with special pricing for youth tickets.
