We live and breathe the arts at CCA, and lately, music has become even more important than ever. In this era of social distancing, songs provide companionship for everything from working out to working from home. We asked our staff what's on their playlists these days, and they did not disappoint. Pop in those earbuds and enjoy this curated Spotify list from our Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Cynde Cerf.
Cynde Cerf's Playlist
"This playlist has some of my favorite artists. They're performers who do extraordinary things with music and geniuses who experiment with what an instrument can create: resonance, vocal melody, rhythm, echo. I know this list could be much longer; there are masters missing from its queue, like Queen, Cecilia Bartoli, Etta James, Sarah Vaughn...the list could go on. But this playlist is the perfect pairing with a juicy novel, an inspired afternoon of cooking, or an evening spent writing letters to friends."
