Chandler Center for the Arts presents a free concert featuring Quarteto Nuevo performing their acclaimed Jazz Road Suite: Western States on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Jazz appreciation continues at CCA on Saturday, May 9, 2026, when jazz guitar legend Pat Metheny performs. A multiple Grammy Award winner, Metheny brings decades of innovation and artistry to the stage with his Side Eye III+ project. Drawing inspiration from classic tales like “The Legend of John Henry” and “Brer Rabbit,” alongside newly reimagined stories such as “Sukey and the Mermaid,” the project reflects the spirit of early juke joints, community gathering spaces where jazz and blues flourished and stories were passed from one generation to the next.
