The Free Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Intel, is back!
Baby, it’s hot outside, but it’s cool at the CCA! Enjoy our air conditioning and start the weekend with music on the Main Stage at Chandler Center for the Arts. Rather experience our Summer Series from home? Join us for a live stream of this performance.
Gabriel Bey has been playing trumpet since 1960, performing across the globe, from Thailand to Amsterdam, South Carolina to Sunny California. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the trumpet has been a staple in Gabriel’s life, playing with many of the Motown artists who made their way to the Cleveland scene. Over the years, he has developed many performing and touring groups who set off their careers playing his original compositions.
This performance promises a smooth jazz evening with music from Miles Davis, Kenny Garrett, and Roy Hargrove. There will even be a little Prince, as defined by Herbie Hancock, and original music from Gabriel Bey aka Spooky Kool.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT- RSVP IS NOT REQUIRED TO ATTEND
MORE ABOUT THE SERIES
Join us on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. and cool off with a soda, wine, beer, or the evening’s drink special. To show our love to Summer Concert attendees, the CCA will extend an exclusive flash ticket sale for that night only to an upcoming performance. While you’re here, explore The Gallery at the CCA after-hours to see the latest exhibit.
