Chandler Center for the Arts is proud to present the heartwarming tale of Belle and the Beast, swirling to life in this vibrant concert version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, complete with a live orchestra and chorus, a brightly costumed cast of the Valley’s premier musical theatre stars, and dazzling animated scenery. Be swept away all over again by your favorite songs in this sumptuous show!
Leading this concert production is Music Director JR McAlexander, Artistic Director M. Seth Reines, PBS-TV Director and director of countless regional theatres, national tours and world premiere musicals, and Choreography Director Lauran Stanis.
This production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
About Showtune Productions
JR McAlexander is the owner, executive producer and genius behind local stage company Showtune Productions, now in its 13th season! A 35-year veteran of live professional theatre, JR has overseen the music direction of more than 400 productions throughout the United States and Canada, including numerous national touring Broadway companies. JR McAlexander produces CCA’s popular Showtime Series and New Year’s Eve Celebration.
