Showtune Productions announces auditions for its 2025 musical production of The Wizard of Oz.
Showtune Productions and Chandler Center for the Arts will present an ethnically diverse, fully staged production of The Wizard of Oz, with performances at Chandler Center for the Arts on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15. Adult auditions for this production will be held at Chandler Center for the Arts on Saturday, September 7, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., with callbacks on Saturday, September 21.
Auditionees, who must be over the age of 18, should memorize 16 bars of a Broadway classic and bring sheet or iPad music in their key and a professional headshot and resume.
The Wizard of Oz will be a fully staged production with a live onstage orchestra, scenic projections, costumes, and choreography. All performers will be paid and must be available for all evening and full-day weekend rehearsals on January 2-5 and March 2-13 with three performances on March 14-15, 2025. Showtune Productions supports inclusive, non-traditional casting.
