Chandler Center for the Arts is proud to present its CCA Anywhere Series, connecting people through engaging virtual performances that can be watched on your phone, tablet, laptop or TV...wherever you may be.
Join us for a virtual performance from Derek DeMel, a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Athens, Ohio, who’s a biomedical engineering student at Yale University. His music is inspired by pop, alternative rock, indie, and funk artists, including Two Door Cinema Club, Maroon 5, and Bruno Mars. Derek recently released his debut EP “Euphoria” with its light, airy melodies that make us think of Dua Lipa or Shawn Mendes.
Fun fact: Derek keeps his performance skills fresh staying active in the Yale a cappella community as a member of the Yale Whiffenpoofs and Spizzwinks.
