Showtune Productions announces auditions for its 2024 concert production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast: Live in Concert.
The production will feature a live on-stage orchestra, costumes, choreography, and animated scenic projections. Adult auditions will be held at Chandler Center for the Arts on Saturday, August 19, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., with callbacks on Saturday, August 26.
Cast members must be over 16 and available for rehearsal January 2-7 and March 11-21, 2024, with performances at Chandler Center for the Arts on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, 2024. The role of Chip will be cast at a later date. All roles will be paid.
Auditionees should prepare 32 bars of an up-tempo and 32 bars of a ballad, preferably from a Disney or similar musical. An accompanist will be provided. No background accompaniment tracks will be allowed. Please bring sheet music in your key and a non-returnable headshot and resume.
