Chandler Center for the Arts is proud to present its CCA Anywhere Series, connecting people through engaging virtual performances that can be watched on your phone, tablet, laptop or TV...wherever you may be.
Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company presents its family-friendly production honoring the Chinese Lunar New Year. With each year represented by one of the 12 animals of the zodiac and one of the five fundamental elements believed to make up the universe, this spectacular, vibrant, colorful three-day virtual event celebrates the Year of the Golden Ox.
Join us for the LIVE final performance for this New Year celebration with a 90-minute event that features dance, acrobatics, music, and opera – all performed by Chinese American artists – followed by a panel discussion. The program is suitable for viewers, age six and older.
“Cross Cultural influences in Nai-Ni Chen’s artistry reveal her great strength lies in breaking away from rigid forms, while she simultaneously maintains essential elements of Chinese classical dance.” - The Northeastern News, Boston, MA
