The public is invited to stop by the terrace at Chandler Center for the Arts for some outside, masked-up, community chalk-coloring.
Artist Edith Castro, featured in The Gallery at the CCA January 8 through February 26, has created a 10-foot-by-20-foot chalk outline in her geometric style. The Gallery is looking for Chandlerites of all ages to come and lend a hand to color in the lines. Stay for 15 minutes or the whole two hours. Bring a friend, bring a mask, The Gallery will provide the chalk. While attending the chalk event, visitors can also see Castor’s exhibition Sin Amor, No Somos Nada on display in The Gallery.
