Chandler Center for the Arts is proud to partner with the West Valley Arts Council to present this performance as part of its CCA Anywhere Series.
Learn about the science of rhythm, percussion and sound with percussionist Keith Johnson. Keith brings alive the energetic movement of African music played on traditional instruments. Grab whatever you have at home to create a makeshift drum and create your own rhythm as Keith talks about sound and how it lives within and around all of us.
To enjoy this free performance, registration is required. A link will be sent to all registrants prior to showtime on Thursday, February 4 at 7 p.m.
More About the Artist: For more than three decades, Keith has performed at schools using music and storytelling to share traditional African Folklore.
