After gracing the stage of the Hal Bogle Theatre in 2018, GRAMMY nominated Raul Midón returns to Chandler with this special online performance for our free CCA Anywhere Series. Dubbed “an eclectic adverturist” by People Magazine, Midón is a consummate performer who brings the acoustic guitar alive with a percussive flamenco flourish, accompanied by a silky voice and improvisional mouth-horn. Don’t miss this performer who has collaborated with music legends – Herbie Hancock to Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder to Queen Latifah.

“As someone who has never seen, I’ve always felt at a disadvantage in that lyric writing is usually very visual,” he says. “People really relate to images, and I’ve never seen images. But what I realized early on is that you have to write from what you know, and I hear, touch and feel intensely – and those are sensations and experiences that everyone can relate to.”
