The Chandler Center for the Arts strives to provide all patrons with an enjoyable experience in clean, safe and accommodating surroundings. The Chandler Center for the Arts is wheelchair accessible and accommodating for patrons who have limited mobility or who have visual and/or hearing impairments. If you require assistance, please inform our box office personnel of any special needs or requirements when purchasing tickets by calling 480-782-2680.
SeatingAccessible seating is provided in Rows A and B in our theatre. There are 36 steps up to the balcony section and it is not wheelchair accessible. Automatic EntranceTwo automatic door openers are located on the east exterior entrance of the Center and will lead you to the Foyer and/or Exhibition Hall Gallery. A third automatic door opener is located on the north exterior entrance of the Center. Please be aware that our staff is available to assist you, whenever possible. RestroomsWheelchair accessible restrooms are located at the north and south end of the foyer.
WaterAccessible water fountains are available at the north and south ends of our foyer.
Concession StandsUpon request from visually impaired individuals, concession stand sales personnel will verbally provide price information. Sales personnel will be happy to retrieve merchandise for patrons who require assistance. Concession stands are located in the foyer.
Gift ShopA souvenir gift shop is located in the South end of our Foyer where you can purchase CCA denim shirts, mugs and other merchandise. Please Note: Depending on the artist…show memorabilia (CD’s, shirts, books) will be available for purchase at a separate table located in the foyer.
Service Animals/Guide DogsService animals are welcome at the Chandler Center for the Arts. In order to avoid hazardous situations, they will rest in the patron's seating area during the performance.
Emergency Evacuation ProceduresChandler Center for the Arts personnel have been thoroughly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all patrons, including those patrons with disabilities, in the case of an emergency.
Wheelchair StoragePatrons wishing to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat can request to have their wheelchair stored during the performance. Please alert the staff if you will need assistance during intermission. Upon completion of the event, the staff member will return your wheelchair to you at your seat.
Assistive Listening DevicesAssistive listening devices are available for individuals with a hearing-impairment. Please visit the House Manager’s desk located in the South Foyer upon your arrival at the theatre to arrange for the use of an Assistive Listening Device. You will be required to leave a driver's license or credit card as collateral. There is no charge for this service. Please Note: Sign Language Interpreter available upon request 10 days prior to event. |
