Linda Ronstadt brings her celebrated “Romantic Evening in Old Mexico” to the Chandler Center on November 8. Featuring songs from her best-selling albums, Canciones de Mi Padre and Más Canciones, she will be accompanied by the world-famous Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano. The show is Linda’s heartfelt tribute to the music of her childhood in Tucson, the classic ranchera music of Northwestern Mexico, highlighted by such hits as the soaring “Los Laureles,” the touching love ballad “Dos Arbolitos,” and the rousing “La Charreada.” Joining the multiple Grammy-winning singer on stage will be the renown dance troupe, Ballet Folklorico Paso del Norte from El Paso, Texas.
The nine-member Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano has been in existence for 47 years. The ensemble will be featured in a soon to air PBS special titled FIESTA MEXICANA."
