WHAT: The Center’s infrastructure and theatrical components will undergo a renovation in the Main Auditorium. A partnership with the Higley School District has been formed to maintain the integrity of the performance schedule for the 2009/2010 season.
WHEN: Starting in May of 2009, with completion estimated for May 2010.
WHY: Chandler voters approved a combined total of $6.7 million in bond funding within the last year in order to update the nearly 20-year-old facility. This funding will support replacement of the Center’s rigging systems, ADA improvements, air conditioning upgrades, seating refurbishment, lobby floor remediation, installation of an orchestra lift and other facility related refurbishments.
