The Community Performing Arts Connection (C-PAC)
C-PAC is about building bridges and creating connections throughout our community. By making theatre, music, and dance opportunities available to local schools, seniors, families and community organizations, we fulfill our mission as a prominent and inclusive cultural institution providing quality programs for our diverse community. During the 07-08 season, C-PAC provided free student performances as well as once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for members of the community to work closely with professional artists at the top in their fields:
- Students at Hartford Sylvia Encinas Elementary were treated to a special Bearfoot Bluegrass school performance.
- Jam Pak Blues–n–Grass Neighborhood Band enjoyed a private jam session with Bearfoot, the young professional musicians from Alaska.
- Chandler High School dance students attended master classes taught by professional dancers from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
- Chandler High School Unified Gospel Choir performed onstage with the world-renowned Harlem Gospel Choir!
